Returns Policy

Changed your mind? That's fine. We will happily accept returns of UNUSED and UNOPENED products provided we receive your return request within 30 days of the PURCHASE date. Please note that we do not refund the original postage fee of $10 (if not specified) with the return. A 20% restocking fee will be deducted from the original purchase price to cover charges incurred whilst processing the refund.

Please follow the simple steps below: 

  1. Contact us to advise you would like to arrange a product return. We'll provide you with the best address for you to send the products to. (Buyers Pay for Return Postage - change of mind, faulty products)
  2. Pack and seal the item/s in their original shipping package and post them back to us. If you do not include the original packaging we may refuse to refund or exchange. Please confirm this prior to returning the items to avoid any confusion. 
  3. Provided that we receive the products in their original UNUSED and UNOPENED condition with all ORIGINAL packaging, we will arrange for the original purchase price (not including original $10 postage fees) to be refunded to the purchaser's payment method used in original transaction. Please allow up to 14 days from the date we receive the returned goods for the refund to be processed.

DAMAGED OR FAULTY PRODUCTS & INSURANCE

We take care when packing your items so that they will not get damaged whilst in transit. If, for any reason they arrive damaged, we ask that you let us know within 7 days of receiving them in the mail.  Please find detailed information below:

INSURANCE is NOT INCLUDED in FREE SHIPPING, however you do have the option to select one of the following: 

  1. SIGNATURE ON DELIVERY (Covers you for LOST IN TRANSIT items), or 
  2. REGISTERED (Covers you for both LOST IN TRANSIT, and VALUE OF PRODUCT). 

Unless you specify an option we will NOT be able to process any claims for BROKEN, DAMAGED or LOST items.

WARRANTY

Most products are covered under a 12 or 24 month warranty which includes manufacture faults. If you need to have an electrical item repaired, whilst it is cover by warranty, you will need to contact the appropriate manufacturer to have the product repaired under the manufactures warranty process.  We will provide all necessary documents required. 

Please note the manufacture may ask you for Proof of INSTALLATION by QUALIFIED TRADE PERSONS, or they may reject your warranty claim.

INCORRECT ADDRESS

If we are provided with an address that is incorrect causing the order to be sent back to us an additional postage fee $10 or more depending on your location will be incurred for sending out the order a second time once the correct address has been provided.

This will be provided in the way of a PayPal invoice and must be paid before we resend the order again. Electromart does offer insurance on Standard or Free Shipping. RETURNS

Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

We calculate 30 days from the day of invoice. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

Additional non-returnable items: Gift cards 

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase. Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer. There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted: (if applicable). Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error. Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery.

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at enquiries@electromart.com.au.

Sale items (if applicable)

Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.

Exchanges (if applicable)

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at enquiries@electromart.com.au and send your item to:

GIFTS

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he will find out about your return.

Please add RMA no given to you during return process. You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary. If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

If we do not receive your item by any means like lost in transit or stolen beyond or control, we will not be able to process your refund, return or exchange. No Credits will be given.
